Born in Ashland, Kentucky, Trace Cyrus is the son of Leticia Finley Cyrus, and the adopted son of her second husband, Billy Ray Cyrus. A singer/songwriter and guitarist, he regularly toured with Billy Ray Cyrus, playing backup in his band. He dropped out of high school in 2006, and started the rock band, Metro Station, with Mason Musso. Metro Station signed with Columbia Records and toured included in the “Soundtrack of Your Summer” Tour in 2008, along with appearing on “Total Request Live”.
