Layne Staley Net Worth $10 Million Dollars

The interview shows that Staley’s dad left the family when Staley was just eight years of age and that Staley somehow considered when he became a (well-known) rock star his dad would return. His dad did really surface when he saw an image of Staley in a magazine. Staley was carefully positive and started a relationship with his dad (who’d been sober himself for just six years at that time). The relationship transformed for the worse when his dad went back to using drugs—they did drugs collectively and his dad finally became dependent upon Staley for drug cash, a situation that led to Staley’s downward spiral. Unfortunately, his dad eventually kicked the drug habit and Staley continued to struggle the dependence, until he lost his conflict on April 5, 2002, when Layne Staley died of an overdose.
