Kristy McNichol is an American singer and performer with a net worth of $7 million. Prior to TV, she worked in advertisements along with her brother. She got her first routine on a TV series as Patricia Apple on 1974’s “Apple’s Way”. A couple of years later, she scored the part that she’s best known now: playing Letitia “Buddy” Lawrence to the drama show “Family”. She co starred alongside several guest performers, including Michael J. Fox and Helen Hunt. While still on “Family”, McNichol jumped to the music business, recording the record “Kristy & Jimmy McNichol” with her brother.

In 1978, McNichol made her feature film debut in “The Ending”. She starred on “The Golden Girls” spin off “Empty Nest”, but had inferior beginning presence, resulting in tension in the show, which she left in 1992 after a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. McNichol made her last screen appearance in the finished episode of “Empty Nest” in 1995; she’s since voiced characters in two animated series in the late ’90s.
