He starred as Mitch Leery from 1998 to 2001 to the show Dawson’s Creek. He’s scheduled to play Henry Allen in the 2014 The Flash show on the CW network. He’s scheduled to play The President of the United States in the coming Golden Shoes.
Has played two versions of the Flash: Barry Allen in the 90's TV series, and Jay Garrick, the Golden Age Flash, in the 2015 series. Shipp also plays Barry Allen's father, Henry Allen, in the latter show.
