Bobby Womack was an American singer songwriter and musician who had a net worth of $250,000. Bobby Womack made his net worth from his livelihood as an active recording artist, who started in the early 1960s. Womack’s career of 40-plus years includes a variety of musical styles like R&B, soul, rock and roll, doo-wop, gospel, and country. He was born on March 4, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio, he and his four brothers founded The Womack Brothers group and toured the gospel circuit. After being found by Sam Cooke Brothers changed the name of the band to the Valentinos and began performing R&B music.

Womack’s tune “Across 110th Street” was featured in the movies Jackie Brown directed by Quentin Tarantino as well as the Denzel Washington film American Gangster. Some of Womack most recent work contains the songs “Cloud of Unknowing” with Gorillaz in 2010 and “Bobby In Phoenix” also with Gorillaz in 2011. Bobby Womack died on June 27, 2014 at age 70.

He was named after Sam's and Barbara's son who accidentally drowned in a swimming pool at 18 months in 1963. Vincent committed suicide in 1988 at age 21 in front of his mother Barbara in her living room because he was despondent that his girlfriend had left him.
