Big Pun net worth: Big Pun was a Puerto Rican-American rap artist and performer who had a net worth of $5 million dollars. Big Pun, also called Christopher Lee Rios, was created in The Bronx, nyc, and had a very difficult childhood. His mom was a drug addict, his father passed away early on, and his stepfather was violent. He grew up largely with his grandmother and had intense anger control issues. He dropped out of high school, and lived on the road to get a number of years. He started composing rap lyrics in the 90s, and co-founded the Complete-A-Clips Crew with Triple Seis and Cuban Link. In 1997, he scored his first mainstream hit with the Knobody remix of his song, “I am Not a Player”, featuring Joe, released as, “Still Not a Player”. This resulted in his first solo album, 1998’s “Capital Punishment”, which went Platinum. It was the first record by a solo Latino rap artist to achieve Platinum status. He passed away in 2000 from a heart attack. His second record was released two months after his departure, and also went Platinum. Another record was launched in 2001.
