Toru Iwatani net worth: Toru Iwatani is a Japanese video game designer that has a net worth of $10 million. He’s famous for creating the arcade games Pacman in 1980 and Pole Position in 1982. He created the idea to get a video game called Pakku-Guy that has been changed to Pac Man for the U.S. release. In 2007 he developed the game Pac-Man Championship Edition for the Xbox 360 and said that it will function as the final match he’ll develop. Iwatani educated in the Osaka University of Arts and became a full time lecturer at Tokyo Polytechnic University in 2007. He holds a Guinness World Record for Pacman being the most coin operated arcade machine installed world-wide with nearly 300 thousand. He also formed a cameo in the film Pixels.
