Tim McCarver is a former American Major League Baseball catcher that has a net worth of $8 million. Tim McCarver has brought in his net worth from his 21 year professional baseball career. He’s played for many teams in the MLB including; the St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Montreal Expos and the Boston Red Sox. He’s now a sportscaster for Fox Sports and he’s the 2012 receiver the Ford C. Frick Award. McCarver formally retired in 1979 after the conclusion of the baseball season; yet he altered his mind and returned in September 1979. This choice made him one of just 29 players in baseball history to appear in Major League matches during four different decades (1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s). The Tim McCarver Stadium opened in 1978, that was a minor league baseball stadium positioned in Memphis. Yet in 2000 the arena was by the newest AutoZone Park downtown arena within naming rights deal. He’s had a successful program career he’s been a dominant color commentator in a network level. As a Sports Event Analyzer he’s won three Emmy Awards. He began at WPHL TV (Channel 17) in Philadelphia, after which on October 9, 2009 he released Tim McCarver Sings Songs in the Great American Songbook, which is a cover album of jazz standards. The Irish American Baseball Hall of Fame inducted McCarver as a sportscaster in 2010.
