Oscar Robertson net worth: Oscar Robertson is an American retired professional basketball player that has a net worth of $4 million dollars. His family was not able to manage a basketball, so he practiced using tennis balls, rags bound with rubber bands, as well as a peach basket. He was a standout player in high school, and helped direct his school, Crispus Attucks, into a state tournament in 1955. It was the very first state tournament won by an all-black school in America. Then he played college basketball for the University of Cincinnati, where he establish multiple records, but also needed to handle extreme racism while traveling with all the team. He won every major basketball award potential during his fourteen-year career, including Rookie of the Year, NBA Most Valuable Player, and a 1971 NBA Tournament. He was part of the Gold Medal winning 1960 Olympic basketball team. He won the very first two NCAA Division I Player of the Year Awards ever handed out. In 1998, the honour was renamed the Oscar Robertson Trophy.
