His career in F1 spanned 15 seasons, with his closing two complete seasons of top level racing being spent in the CART series. He held the record for the most amount of posts set within a session, until it had been broken by Sebastian Vettel in 2011. To date, he’s the newest inductee to the International Motorsports Hall of Fame from a state besides the US — he was inducted in 2005.
