In 1958, Lindsey moved to Caldwell, Idaho, where he got acquainted with the early group of Revere’s. In less than no time, Lindsey was requested to replace singer Red Hughes and soon he also started to perform as its saxophonist. With Mark Lindsey on board, the group became one of the most popular in its region and ultimately one of the most popular in America. In addition, Lindsey worked collectively with Keith Allison and Steve Alaimo, as the Unknowns, a collaboration that resulted in three singles. However, Lindsey spent some time working both as a soloist along with the Raiders’ singer. It had been his follow-up track, “Arizona”, that marked the true beginning of his solo accomplishment by reaching #10 in the USA and staying his most successful solo single to date. Lindsay’s latest album, “Life Out Loud”, was launched via Bongo Boy Records in 2013.
