Leontyne Price Net Worth: Leontyne Price is an American soprano that has a net worth of $2 million. Price climbed to acclaim worldwide in the 1950s and 1960s. She was among the very first African Americans to perform as a top musician in the Metropolitan Opera. Time magazine called Price “Rich, supple and shining…”. Price was a lirico spinto soprano and was nicely satisfied for the designs of Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Verdi, and several operas by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. During her career she won 19 Grammy Awards such as the Lifetime Achievement Award in 1989. Price has won more Grammys than another classical vocalist. She received Opera Honours in the National Endowment for the Arts in 2008. A lot of her records were released by RCA Victor Red Seal.
