Ken Caminiti Net Worth: Ken Caminiti was born in Hanford, California, in 1963. The Houston Astros picked him during the next round of the amateur draft in 1984. He worked his way through the team’s farm system before making his professional MLB debut on July 16, 1987. He played with the Astros until 1994 when he became an associate of the San Diego Padres from 1995 until 1998. Caminiti after played for the Astros a second time from 1999 until 2000 before joining the Texas Rangers as well as the Atlanta Braves in 2001. He completed his professional playing career having a .272 batting average to cooperate with 239 home runs and 983 runs batted in. He was a three-time MLB All Star (1994, 1996, 1997) and won the National League MVP Award in 1996. They had three daughters together. Caminiti openly fought a substance abuse issue throughout his profession. He perished in The Bronx, Ny, on October 10, 2004, in the age of 41, from a cocaine and heroin overdose.
