David LaChapelle Net Worth: David LaChapelle was born in Hartford, Connecticut in March 1963. LaChapelle is famous for his photography which shares societal messages and references art history. His style was described as being kitsch pop surrealism and slyly subversive. In 1996 an article called LaChapelle the “Fellini of photography”. David studied in the School of Visual Arts in Nyc and his first picture was of his mom on a household holiday. He was bullied in school for being homosexual and ran away from home at 15 to become a busboy at Studio 54. Many publications of his works have already been printed.
