Bootsy Collins net worth: Bootsy Collins is an American musician and singer songwriter who has a net worth of $3 million dollars. The band received an unforeseen break when James Brown’s entire routine band quit over a pay dispute. The Pacemakers were hired to replace his old band, and they became know as the first J.B.s. They performed with James Brown for only under per year, and also recorded multiple tracks with him, including “Get Up (I Feel Like Being a) Sex Machine”. James then relocated to Detroit, where he started performing with Funkadelic. He also started performing with his own group, Bootsy’s Rubber Band. They released five albums, including “Bootsy? Player of the Year”, which increased to #1 on the R&B charts. He also played bass and wrote songs for almost every record put out by Parliament-Funkadelic. He has continued to tour as a solo artist, so when a guest artist for other musicians. Presently, he serves as curator and head professor for Bootsy Collins’ Funk University, an internet bass guitar school.

1It wasn't about black, white, green grass, bluegrass, it was all about music to me. All music had a certain effect on me and I appreciated all of it. Music is all one, not to be separated. Anything and everything was possible with George. That was one extreme to the other. You need both in your life--the key is to combine the two.

That's what I would throw in the mix. It's all right to get lost. We're throwing so much perfection in the game with our computers and smart phones, it's not cool to make a mistake., our self esteem goes down and we never like to hear the word 'no'. But our lives were mistake after mistake and through that we learned how to succeed.
